Responsibilities

• Maintain processing equipment and machinery such as seamers, pack shaper, vacuum pumps, conveyors and coders.
• Ensure operational readiness of processing equipment.
• Conduct lubrication checks and follow-up.
• Adjust timing and replace worn parts for seaming operations.
• Implement proper sanitation of equipment after repair and prior to turnover for operation's use.
• Overhaul, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance per standard time scheduling.
• Perform related duties as required.

Basic Functions of the Job

• - Ensure that processing equipment and machinery such as seamers, pack shaper, vacuum pumps, conveyors and coders are properly maintained and good operational condition
• - Ensures operational readiness of all processing equipment.
• - Properly check and follow- up lubrication of equipment.
• - Adjusts machine to correct timing and replaces worn-out part that conform to the set standard of seaming operations.
• - Implements proper sanitation of all equipment after repair and prior to turnover for operation's use.
• - Performs overhauling, troubleshooting and maintenance work in accordance with standard time scheduling.
• - Performs related work as required.

Qualifications

• - Vocational or trade school graduate of specialized training Course.
• - Mechanical /Electrical Engineering Technology graduates desirable.
• - More than one (1) to three (3) years experience in seamer trouble.
• - Troubleshooting, maintenance and repair in a lower position either
• - Willing to work abroad.
• - Considerable knowledge of the methods, material, tools and practices used in seamer maintenance.
• - Considerable knowledge of the occupation hazards and safety precautions of the trade involve.
• - Skill in the care and use of tools and equipment used in the trade involved.
• - Ability to detect defect in equipment and to make proper repairs or adjustments.
• - Ability to supervise a small group of semi-skilled workers.
• - Ability to interpret and or work from pencil sketches and diagrams.
