Job summary

NCS Philippines is seeking a Scrum Master to support multiple clients and projects. You will facilitate retrospectives, coaching teams in Scrum ceremonies, and ensure delivery aligned with specifications.

You will track velocity, cooperate with engineering, product management, and quality teams, and help the team grow in capability. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's or Master's in IT/CS/Engineering, have at least 2 years of Scrum Master experience, and possess Agile experience.

Qualifications

• Education: at least a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master and hands-on Agile experience.
• Certifications such as Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetings.
• Manages the project releases, sprints, and potential impediments.
• Assist in creating a release plan and maintain the prioritized backlog.
• Tracks and communicates team velocity and sprint progress to stakeholders and management.

Job description

The Scrum Master is responsible for supporting various clients and projects across our customer base by facilitating retrospective meetings at the end of each sprint/project to ensure the highest priority retrospective points are met to the customer's satisfaction. The primary job duties may include coaching scrum teams in all areas (including sprint reviews and planning), milestone tracking, holding daily stand-up meetings, and collaborating with engineering, product management, and quality control departments to ensure the project is completed according to specifications. Ensures that the team is following the scrum methodology and keeps the team on track, productive, and growing in ability.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitates daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetings.

• Manages the project releases, sprints, and possible impediments.

• Assist in creating a release plan and help maintain the prioritized project/product backlog.

• Tracks and communicates team velocity and sprint progress to all stakeholders and management.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Education – At least graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or any related course.

• Related Work Experience –

• At least 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master.

  • Experience in handling software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies (Scrum Framework).

  • Experience in handling web and mobile applications.

• Certifications is a plus
