Job summary

SYSGEN RPO seeks a senior Scrum Lead to drive Agile delivery excellence across BFSI engineering teams. You will lead cross-functional groups handling mobile, web, APIs, and cloud-native initiatives while ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable solutions.

You will partner with enterprise stakeholders and product/engineering leaders to remove bottlenecks, optimize delivery, and enable predictable releases within regulatory environments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years as Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead in BFSI ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of modern tech stacks including apps, mobile/web, APIs, cloud-native, and AI integrations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to present to senior leadership.
• Hands-on Jira and Confluence proficiency.
• Certifications: CSM, PSM II, or SPC.
• Experience delivering software in regulated, high-security financial environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex iteration lifecycles for high-velocity BFSI product teams.
• Proactively manage dependencies across APIs, legacy platforms, and cloud architectures.

We are seeking a senior, high-performing Scrum Lead to drive Agile delivery excellence across our flagship Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) engineering teams. In this role, you will lead cross-functional development teams focused on high-stakes digital transformation initiatives—including Mobile & Web Development, Cloud-Native Applications, APIs, and AI-driven systems. Beyond traditional ceremony facilitation, you will act as a strategic delivery champion. You will partner with enterprise financial stakeholders, product managers, and engineering leaders to dismantle systemic bottlenecks, optimize delivery flows, and ensure the predictable release of secure, compliant, and highly scalable financial technologies.

Key Responsibilities

BFSI Delivery & Execution

• Lead Complex Iteration Lifecycles: Facilitate core Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and outcome-based Retrospectives) for high-velocity teams building transactional banking, mobile, and web applications.
• Manage High-Stakes Dependencies: Proactively track and mitigate complex technical dependencies across interconnected APIs, legacy financial platforms, and modern cloud architectures.
• Optimize Delivery Flow: Own team performance metrics—tracking velocity, cycle time, and throughput—to ensure highly predictable product increments that align with strict compliance timelines.

Strategic Roadblock Removal & Scaling

• Eliminate Systemic Impediments: Break through organizational, infrastructural, or technical roadblocks, safeguarding the development team from enterprise distractions and scope creep.
• Support Enterprise Modernization: Help development teams navigating legacy modernization safely pivot toward iterative, Agile delivery without compromising security or regulatory baselines.
• Promote a High-Trust Culture: Foster a psychologically safe, transparent, and collaborative environment across engineering and product disciplines.
• Coach Stakeholders: Act as an Agile evangelist, coaching product owners, engineering leads, and enterprise business stakeholders on Scrum values and value-based delivery.
• Mentor the Agile Practice: Guide and mentor junior Scrum Masters within the organization to mature the overall Agile footprint.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead, with a proven track record within the BFSI ecosystem.
• Technical Domain Familiarity: Strong conceptual understanding of modern technology landscapes, including Application Development, Mobile/Web platforms, APIs, Cloud-Native setups, and AI integrations.
• Enterprise Navigational Skills: Excellent conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership in banking or financial enterprises.
• Tool Mastery: Advanced, hands-on proficiency with Agile lifecycle management platforms, specifically Jira and Confluence.
• Certifications: Advanced Agile credentials such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM II), or SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC).
• Regulated Environment Experience: Prior experience delivering software under strict regulatory, data compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS), and high-security financial parameters.
