Job summary

MIMS (MediMarketing, Inc.) is seeking a medically trained writer to deepen scientific understanding of client brand portfolios and provide tailored MedComms solutions. You will craft high-quality content that meets client objectives while strictly adhering to compliance and editorial standards.

The role involves engaging with key opinion leaders and coordinating advisory boards, scientific meetings, and webinars to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in the sciences (PhD, MSc, BSc).
• At least 3 years of scientific/medical writing experience.
• Experience in advisory boards, scientific meetings, webinars is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain deep scientific understanding of clients' brand portfolios to advise on MedComms solutions.
• Use scientific knowledge to create high-quality content meeting client objectives while ensuring compliance and editorial quality.

Job description

Key responsibilities of this position include:

• Acquire and maintain a deep scientific understanding of clients' brand portfolios in order to provide tailored and insightful advice on MedComms solutions
• Use scientific knowledge to create high-quality content to meet client objectives whilst adhering to compliance and editorial quality standards
• Build knowledge of key opinion leaders in key therapeutic areas and liaise with them to ensure the successful delivery of medical communications projects

Key requirements

• Graduate degree in the sciences (PhD, MSc, BSc); healthcare science degree a plus (MD, PharmD, BPharm)
• At least 3 years of scientific/medical writing experience, preferably in a MedComms agency or pharmaceutical Medical Affairs setting
• Experience in running or facilitating advisory boards, scientific meetings, webinars, etc is highly preferred
