Job summary

Hexagon Group of Companies is seeking a diligent administrator to manage scholarship grants for the Foundation. You will liaison with scholars, the President, Trustees, officers, school heads, and community officials to ensure timely processing and compliance.

The role involves monitoring scholars' performance, maintaining records, assisting in policy development, and supporting fundraising and socio-civic activities.

Qualifications

• College graduate preferably Social Work.
• At least 1 year of experience in administrative or office support position, preferably in a scholarship foundation.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Apps.
• Familiarity with basic accounting and legal concepts.

Responsibilities

• Acts as Liaison between the Scholars, the President, Trustees and Officers; School Heads and Coordinators; Barangay Officials and other Social Welfare Agencies.
• Assists the Foundation President in screening new applicants.
• Monitors scholars’ performance and their compliance with Foundation policy and requirements.
• Ensures pertinent documents and policies are complied with and enforced appropriately (MOA with partner schools, scholarship policy); safekeeps and updates records of scholars, and keeps transactions updated/liquidated in a timely manner.
• Represents the Foundation during external meetings with various institutions.
• Assists in drafting and improving Foundation policies for trustee approval.
• Assists in the preparation and holding of socio civic programs, regular meetings, celebrations, and other foundation activities (fundraising activities).
• Coordinates concerns of Bacolod Foundation Coordinator.
• Process and coordinates release of scholarship grants in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assists in the procurement of supplies and assets needed by the Foundation.
• Prepares accomplishment reports of the foundation.
