Job summary

UNICEF Philippines seeks a Social and Behaviour Change Officer to bolster the nationwide HPV vaccination programme and strengthen routine immunization efforts. The role translates behavioural evidence into practical SBC strategies that address barriers and build confidence in vaccines.

The Officer will collaborate with government bodies, UNICEF SBC and immunization teams, academic institutions, and development partners to achieve these objectives and improve vaccination outcomes for children

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree required in related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in communication, SBC, immunization, or public health.
• English and Filipino language skills required.

Responsibilities

• Generate and synthesize social and behavioural evidence for vaccination programmes.
• Provide technical assistance to partners in designing SBC interventions.
• Strengthen SBC capacities of government, partners, and UNICEF teams.
• Monitor, evaluate, and document SBC interventions to improve programme effectiveness.
• Contribute to institutionalizing SBC within government systems and partnerships.
