Job summary

ofi is seeking an R&D / Innovation Specialist to lead local savory and culinary product development and technical solutions in the Philippines. You will partner with customers, commercial teams and manufacturing to move concepts from idea to launch, ensuring successful scale-up and manufacturing readiness.

The role requires deep expertise in seasonings, marinades, coatings, sauces and premixes, with 10–15 years in relevant roles.

Qualifications

Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary Science or related discipline.
10–15 years in savory and culinary applications, product development or technical customer solutions.
Expertise in seasonings, marinades, coatings, sauces, premixes or related savory systems.
Experience supporting CPG, QSR, Foodservice or B2B customers.
Proven track record in product commercialization and manufacturing scale-up.
Strong understanding of ingredient functionality and formulation development.
Excellent customer-facing communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive, hands-on approach with strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
Fluent in English and familiar with the Philippines market.

Responsibilities

Lead savory and culinary product development and technical solutions for the Philippines market.
Translate customer and consumer insights into viable concepts and formulations.
Oversee sensory evaluation, benchmarking, and formulation optimization.
Enable manufacturing readiness and scale-up from bench to pilot and production.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain and Commercial teams.
