Job summary

SMITS, Inc. - IT Company of San Miguel Corporation in the Philippines is seeking an experienced SAP PP Consultant to analyze requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

You will configure SAP PP modules, support end-to-end implementations, and collaborate with MM, SD, QM, PM, and EWM teams. You will also design production planning processes, create doc guides, and provide end-user training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT / CS / IE or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as an SAP PP Consultant.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong knowledge of Production Planning (PP), MRP, and integration with MM/SD/QM/PM/EWM.
• Experience with SAP implementation lifecycle (ASAP/Activate/Agile).
• Ability to create functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP developers.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PP functional specifications.
• Configure and customize SAP PP modules based on organizational needs.
• Support end-to-end SAP implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and enhancement projects.
• Design and maintain production planning processes, including:
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
• Demand Management
• Capacity Planning
• Production Orders
• Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Work Centers and Routings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP MM, SD, QM, WM/EWM, and PM modules.
• Conduct system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Develop functional specifications for SAP developments, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
• Provide end-user training and prepare documentation, user guides, and process flows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP PP-related issues and provide ongoing production support.
• Ensure SAP solutions align with business objectives and best practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an SAP PP Consultant.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Production Planning (PP)

• Master Data Management
• Production Execution
• Capacity Planning
• Demand Management
• Experience with SAP implementation lifecycle (ASAP, Activate, Agile methodologies).
• Knowledge of integration points with MM, SD, QM, PM, and EWM modules.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, consumer goods, or similar industries is an advantage.
