Job summary

GECO Asia Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced SAP PP/SCM Consultant to design, implement, and continuously improve SAP Supply Chain Planning solutions with a focus on Production Planning. You will work with business and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable, standardized processes and enable project delivery and system enhancements.

The role requires strong expertise in SAP PP configuration, SCM, and cross-functional integrations, along with hands-on ABAP debugging and change management experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of SAP consulting experience in Supply Chain Planning and Production Planning environments
• Experience working with global business and IT stakeholders
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support SAP PP and Supply Chain Planning solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
• Lead and support SAP implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure consistency across SAP Supply Chain Planning processes and related cross-functional integrations.
• Manage change requests, project activities, testing, and deployment support.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
• Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution across SAP PP processes.
• Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and external partners to deliver successful outcomes.
• Promote best practices, process standardization, and knowledge sharing across teams.
• Prepare and maintain functional specifications, process documentation, and support materials.
• Support vendor evaluations, technology assessments, and architecture reviews to ensure alignment with long-term business and IT strategies.

General Qualifications

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Production Planning (SAP PP).
• Experience in end-to-end SAP PP implementations, enhancements, and support projects.
• Strong expertise in SAP PP configuration and solution design.
• Solid understanding of Supply Chain Planning (SCM) and manufacturing processes.
• Experience supporting process improvements, business requirements gathering, and solution delivery.
• Hands-on experience with ABAP debugging and technical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of cross-functional SAP integration points within supply chain and manufacturing environments.
• Experience working on SAP change management, testing, deployment, and support activities.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• SAP SCM, APO, IBP, or related supply chain planning experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning.
• Exposure to SAP MM, WM/eWM, or logistics processes.
• Experience working on global SAP transformation or rollout projects.
