Job summary

GECO Asia Pte. Ltd. is seeking an expert SAP MM/IM consultant to act as SME for inventory management and related warehouse processes. You will lead project teams and deliver SAP solutions aligned with business needs and SAP best practices.

You will contribute to SAP S/4HANA implementations, translate requirements into functional designs, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless MM/IM/WM/EWM integration in a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant SAP experience.
• Strong expertise in SAP MM Inventory Management (MM-IM).
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Experience with SAP WM and/or SAP EWM.
• Understand inventory movements, stock management, and physical inventory.
• Translate requirements into functional SAP solutions.
• Ability to lead and provide functional guidance in complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP MM Inventory Management and related warehouse processes.

• Lead and collaborate with project teams to ensure successful delivery of SAP solutions and project milestones.

• Take ownership of functional decisions and provide recommendations aligned with business requirements and SAP best practices.

• Engage with multiple teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify gaps, and develop effective solutions.

• Analyze complex inventory and warehouse management requirements and translate them into functional designs and SAP solutions.

• Support SAP S/4HANA implementation, enhancement, integration, and optimization initiatives.

• Design and implement scalable and maintainable solutions for inventory management processes.

• Work closely with cross-functional SAP teams to ensure seamless integration between MM, IM, WM, EWM, and other relevant modules.

• Facilitate effective communication and coordination among team members, business stakeholders, and technical teams.

• Provide functional guidance and support during solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP inventory and warehouse management issues.

• Mentor and support team members by sharing functional knowledge, best practices, and technical expertise.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and recommend process and system enhancements to improve operational efficiency and solution quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant SAP experience, with strong expertise in SAP MM Inventory Management (MM-IM).

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations.

• Proven experience in SAP Inventory Management (IM) processes and configurations.

• Experience with SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and/or SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).

• In-depth understanding of inventory management processes, including inventory movements, stock management, physical inventory, and related SAP processes.

• Experience in analyzing business requirements and translating them into effective functional solutions.

• Strong understanding of SAP integration with other modules and business processes.

• Ability to provide functional leadership and make sound decisions in complex project environments.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with SAP MM-IM-PI (Physical Inventory).

• Experience with SAP WM and SAP EWM integration.

• Experience in inventory and warehouse process transformation or optimization.

• Exposure to complex SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.

• Experience working in large-scale, global, or multi-team SAP environments.

Work Details

• Experience Required: 5+ years

• Work Hours: 45 hours per week

• Shift Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Work Arrangement: Hybrid

• Onsite Requirement: 2 days per week
