Qualifications

• Expert-level SAP MM with strong IM focus, 5+ years of experience.
• Hands-on SAP MM-IM configuration and support.
• Experience with MM-IM-PI (Physical Inventory) processes.
• Strong SAP IM and WM integration knowledge required.
• Experience with GR/GI, stock transfers, movement types, storage locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP MM Inventory Management solutions design and delivery.
• Serve as SME for MM-IM and IM/WM integration.
• Design scalable SAP solutions aligned with business needs.
• Configure SAP MM processes: goods movements, stock transfers, physical inventory.
• Implement and support IM-WM integration and related interfaces.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into designs.
• Troubleshoot SAP MM issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Participate in architecture, SIT/UAT, deployment, and post-live support.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Custom Software Engineering Lead with deep expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM) – Inventory Management (IM) and Warehouse Management (WM). The successful candidate will lead the technical design and implementation of SAP MM solutions, ensuring scalable, high-quality, and integrated inventory management processes. This role combines technical leadership, solution design, and team management while collaborating with business stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of SAP MM Inventory Management solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP MM-IM and IM/WM integration.
• Design scalable and maintainable SAP solutions aligned with business requirements and best practices.
• Configure and support SAP MM Inventory Management processes, including goods movements, inventory transactions, stock transfers, and physical inventory.
• Implement and support system integration between SAP MM Inventory Management (IM) and Warehouse Management (WM).
• Collaborate with business users, solution architects, and technical teams to translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex SAP MM issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Participate in solution architecture, system integration, testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, and post‑production support.
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance throughout project delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to SAP standards and best practices.

Required Skills

• Expert‑level experience in SAP Materials Management (SAP MM) with a strong focus on Inventory Management (IM) at least 5 years of experience
• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP MM Inventory Management (MM‑IM) configuration and support.
• Experience with SAP MM‑IM‑PI (Physical Inventory) processes.
• Strong experience integrating SAP Inventory Management (IM) with Warehouse Management (WM) (must‑have).
• Experience with SAP MM configuration (Customizing), including: Goods Receipt (GR), Goods Issue (GI), Stock Transfers, Movement Types, Storage Locations, Physical Inventory
• Strong understanding of inventory management business processes and SAP best practices.
• Experience designing scalable SAP solutions and translating business requirements into technical and functional designs.
• Experience integrating SAP MM with other SAP modules (e.g., WM, SD, PP, FI).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills for SAP production support.
• Experience working within Agile or SDLC project environments.

Good‑to‑Have Skills

• Experience with SAP Warehouse Management (WM) or SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA MM implementations or migrations.
• Knowledge of SAP integration technologies.
