Job summary

Accenture in the Philippines is seeking an SAP HANA Database Administrator to administer, monitor, and optimize SAP HANA databases, ensuring high availability, security, and data integrity across SAP environments. You will manage MDC tenant databases, perform backups and disaster recovery, and contribute to performance tuning, upgrades, and patching while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

A bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–6 years of SAP HANA Database Administration experience.
• Hands-on with HANA architecture, MDC, backup/recovery, and security.
• Strong knowledge of HA/DR, HSR, upgrades, migrations, and patching.
• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain SAP HANA databases for high availability.

Your Role

As an SAP HANA DB Administration you will administer, monitor, and optimize SAP HANA databases by managing installations, upgrades, performance tuning, security, backup and recovery, and high-availability solutions to ensure reliable operations and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain SAP HANA databases to ensure high availability, performance, security, and reliability.
• Manage SAP HANA architecture, tenant databases (MDC), user administration, security, memory management, and database configurations.
• Perform database backup, recovery, disaster recovery (DR), and high availability (HA) activities, including HANA System Replication (HSR).
• Execute database installations, upgrades, migrations, patching, performance tuning, and optimization activities.
• Troubleshoot database issues, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business-critical SAP environments.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in SAP HANA Database Administration.
• Hands-on experience with SAP HANA architecture, HANA Studio/Cockpit, tenant databases (MDC), backup and recovery, and security administration.
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA performance tuning, database optimization, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SAP HANA High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR), HANA System Replication (HSR), upgrades, migrations, and patching.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
