Job summary

GECO Asia Pte. Ltd is seeking an experienced SAP FI Analyst to support and optimize Finance and Accounting processes within SAP.

You will serve as the link between Finance users, SAP teams, and IT stakeholders, providing day-to-day functional support and driving improvements. You will gather requirements, participate in testing (UAT, system tests), support upgrades, and help ensure SAP solutions meet compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in SAP FI support, business analysis, key user, super user, or functional support roles.
• Experience working in Finance, Accounting, Shared Services, or ERP environments.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day functional support for SAP FI users, resolving business process and system-related issues.
• Serve as the primary liaison between local Finance teams, CKUs, subject matter experts, and IT teams.
• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into SAP functional specifications and improvement opportunities.
• Support SAP projects, upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and change initiatives.
• Coordinate and execute testing activities, including system testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Validate system changes and ensure solutions meet business and compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, user guides, and training materials.
• Conduct end-user training and promote SAP best practices and process standardization.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement across Finance operations.
• Collaborate with global and local stakeholders to ensure effective SAP solution adoption and support.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP FI Analyst to support and optimize Finance and Accounting processes within SAP. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong SAP FI expertise and hands-on experience supporting business users in a key user, super user, or functional support capacity.

About you

• Experience working in Finance, Accounting, Shared Services, or ERP environments.

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively with business users, SMEs, CKUs, and IT teams in a collaborative environment.

• Hands-on experience with SAP Financial Accounting (SAP FI) in a Key User, Super User, Functional Support, or Business Analyst capacity.

• Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting business processes and their integration within SAP.

• Experience supporting SAP enhancements, upgrades, system changes, testing activities, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Knowledge across multiple SAP FI functional areas, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting / Cash Management, and Financial Closing and Reporting.

• Experience troubleshooting business process and system issues within SAP FI.
