Job summary

Dikshatek in the Philippines is seeking an SAP ECC6 FI functional consultant to design and implement finance solutions, linking FI with CO and other modules. You will liaise with clients and SAP to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues.

Responsibilities include designing GL, AP, AR, asset accounting, bank and cash management, conducting requirements gathering, UAT, knowledge transfer, and coordinating a small team as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Experience in Accounting and two full lifecycle SAP FI implementations.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of Philippine taxation reporting requirements.
• Ability to lead small teams and coordinate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Design SAP ECC6 FI solutions including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Cash Management.
• Gather user requirements, blueprinting, and document the design.
• Provide functional expertise and training on SAP functionalities to clients.
• Ensure compliance with reporting standards and processes.
• Prepare test plans and scripts; conduct User Acceptance Testing.
• Knowledge transfer and end-user training.
• Collaborate with SAP and BASIS/ABAP for fixes and development.
• Develop functional specs and coordinate small team if needed.
• May lead and coordinate a small team.

About the role

Provide specialist level functional and configuration knowledge in designing SAP ECC6 FI solutions. Understand dependency between FI and CO and other logistics modules, and provide financial expertise into the definition and resolution of issues in this area. Act as liaison with client and SAP for troubleshooting, investigating, analysing, and solving software problems and bugs.

Key responsibilities

• Design SAP ECC6 FI solutions with sound knowledge of master data and configuration of GL (including new GL), AP, AR, Asset accounting, Bank accounting and Cash Management

• Conduct and participate in user requirements gathering, blueprinting or mapping client business requirements and processes and documentation of the agreed design

• Provide functional expertise, guidance, presentation and instructions on SAP functionalities to clients

• Ensure compliance to reporting standards and processes

• Prepare detailed test plans and test scripts for various scenarios based on agreed business processes

• Conduct User Acceptance Testing with the client

• Conduct knowledge transfer and training of end-users, including sharing best practices

• Work with SAP to resolve software bugs and perform break/fix analysis and recommend solutions for finance related processes

• Develop functional specifications and work with BASIS and ABAP resources to complete development and testing of client customized requirements

• May lead and coordinate the work of a small team

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

• Work experience in Accounting

• At least two (2) full lifecycle implementations as an SAP FI functional consultant

• Analytical with strong communication and presentation skills

• Knowledgeable in financial processes and basic Philippine taxation reporting requirements

• Strong ability to facilitate discussions and negotiate mutually beneficial solutions when necessary

• Familiar with the processes and strategies that make up the data migration activities

• Understand and apply the group company's methodologies and procedures
