Continental Global Business Services Manila Inc. is seeking an IT Consultant SAP CO to join our Manila team. The role focuses on IT project management, budget oversight, and technical documentation to support ContiTech SAP accounting and controlling functions.

You will collaborate with process and vendor teams to implement new SAP features, ensure standard alignment, and maintain system operations across the region. English fluency and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

Academic Degree in Technology or Business Administration or comparable qualification.
Several years of professional experience in a comparable role.
Experience in IT Solutions for Accounting & Controlling.
Experience in SAP Accounting & Controlling and SAP Analytic Cloud.
Business knowledge related to Accounting & Controlling.
Basic knowledge of all related SAP modules.
Leading Self and Interacting with external resources in the same functional area.
Business fluent in English (spoken & written).
Intercultural sensitivity.
Willingness to travel worldwide (≈20%).

Responsibilities

Ensure an efficient purchasing process and project coordination across IT implementations.
Lead projects following Project Management principles with internal/external resources.
Collaborate with Business Process Consultant to align CT standards for new projects.
Ensure CT Standards align with standard practices for scalability and maintenance.
Deliver on-time enhancements and project implementations (new functionalities).
Create and follow project budgets and forecasts; communicate updates.
Maintain and improve technical documentation and LeanIX data.
Define technical concepts for changes and oversee realization.
Ensure service continuity and region-wide system operations.
Share lessons learned across teams and promote knowledge management.

Job Description

ContiTech, a Group Sector of Continental, is one of the world’s leading suppliers of technical elastomer products and is a specialist in plastics technology. ContiTech develops and produces functional parts, components, and systems for machine and plant engineering, mining, the automotive industry, and other important industries. Our Manila (Philippines) location is seeking a IT Consultant SAP CO (m/f/diverse) to join our team:

Project Management

Ensuring an efficient purchasing process if needed (e.g., in‑time involvement of Purchasing, transparent communication)
Leading of projects according to Project Management principles (focus on IT realization: coordination of vendor / inhouse resources)
Collaboration with Business Process Consultant to final align and define technical CT Standards for new projects / enhancements
Ensure that technical CT Standards are as close as possible to standard for better scalability and maintenance
Successful and in‑time implementation of enhancements / projects (new functionalities, applications etc.)

Project Budget

Creation and follow up on project eCRs if needed (after IT Portfolio Board approval)
Ensure purchasing process during the project (e.g., CEOS shopping card creation, payment)
Create and communicate updates of project Budget (Forecast process)
Ensure reliability of project Budget / Forecast (requested budget should be consumed or adjusted in‑time)

Technical Documentation

Ensure availability and quality of technical documentation (with vendor same as for internal development)
Ensure up to date information in LeanIX

Change Management

Define technical concept for changes
Realization and hyper‑care for changes

Application Services

Ensure service continuity and system operations in the region
Follow structured problem solving processes and lessons learned on technical interruptions

Knowledge management

Ensure utilization of lessons learned (cross teams and Competence Center)
Ensure continuous learning and sharing of state‑of‑the‑art & standard utilization (e.g., visiting relevant IT fairs)

Qualifications
