Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.

• Strong expertise in SAP CO and Controlling processes.
• Experience with SAC for reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT projects supporting Finance and Controlling functions within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Manage end-to-end project activities including budgeting, forecasting, and resource coordination.
• Oversee application services, enhancements, and operation of Accounting & Controlling systems.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and external service providers.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement of Finance/Controlling apps and processes.
• Support SAP implementations, upgrades, integrations, and transformations.
• Ensure availability, stability, and compliance of applications; maintain documentation.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP CO Consultant to lead the delivery, enhancement, and operational management of enterprise Finance and Controlling solutions. This role will be responsible for managing SAP-related projects, overseeing application services, driving process improvements, and partnering with business stakeholders to support Finance and Controlling transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong SAP CO expertise, Accounting & Controlling business knowledge, project management capabilities, and experience working within global environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver IT projects supporting Finance and Controlling functions, ensuring successful execution within scope, budget, and timeline

• Manage end-to-end project activities, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, purchasing processes, resource coordination, and financial tracking

• Oversee application services, system enhancements, change requests, and operational support activities for Accounting & Controlling systems

• Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and external service providers

• Drive standardization, optimization, and continuous improvement of Finance and Controlling applications and processes

• Support SAP-related implementations, upgrades, integrations, and transformation initiatives

• Ensure the availability, stability, performance, and compliance of assigned applications

• Maintain accurate technical and functional documentation, ensuring knowledge transfer and operational excellence

• Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure high-quality service delivery

• Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline

• Minimum 8 years of overall IT experience, including SAP application delivery and support

• At least 4 years of hands‑on experience working with SAP Controlling (CO)

• Experience working with international, cross‑functional, and multicultural teams

• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP Controlling (SAP CO)

• Strong expertise in Accounting & Controlling business processes, including financial planning, cost controlling, reporting, and management accounting

• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting, planning, analytics, and business insights

• Proven experience leading IT projects, including vendor management, budgeting, forecasting, governance, and resource coordination

• Experience managing application lifecycle activities, including enhancements, support, deployment, and change management

• Ability to drive process standardization, continuous improvement, and operational excellence initiatives
