Job summary

DG Design is seeking a licensed Sanitary/Civil Engineer to lead plumbing, sewerage, and drainage system design for projects in the Philippines. You will prepare plans, perform hydrological analyses, and ensure compliance with national codes.

Responsibilities include coordinating with architects and engineers, conducting site inspections, preparing cost estimates and permits, and advising on sanitation solutions throughout project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sanitary Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Sanitary Engineer (PRC).
• 1–3 years of experience in sanitary/plumbing system design and construction.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other relevant software (H2ONet, EPANET a plus).
• Strong understanding of local and national plumbing codes and environmental laws.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare detailed plans for plumbing, sewerage, and drainage systems.
• Perform hydrological analysis, RIDF, and flood assessments.
• Ensure sanitary designs comply with applicable codes and regulations.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers during project planning and execution.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify installations.
• Prepare cost estimates, materials specs, and schedules.
• Evaluate water supply, wastewater treatment, and storm drainage systems.
• Prepare and submit permit applications to LGUs and regulatory agencies.
• Provide technical advice for sanitation-related concerns during project execution.
