Spinneys Philippines is seeking a skilled Meal Solutions Production Specialist to lead the preparation and production of sandwiches and salads while ensuring consistent taste, quality, and presentation.

You will handle fresh ingredients, manage portioning and packaging, and maintain strict food safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required, with opportunities to contribute to recipe improvements and production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sandwich and salad preparation or food production.
• Strong understanding of food preparation techniques, ingredient handling, portion control, and presentation.
• Experience in supermarket, deli, commissary, restaurant, catering, or food manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to product quality and consistency.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce sandwiches and salads according to approved recipes, specifications, and presentation standards.
• Demonstrate expertise in sandwich assembly, salad preparation, dressings, sauces, fillings, and ingredient combinations.
• Handle and prepare fresh ingredients, including vegetables, meats, cheeses, proteins, and other meal components.
• Ensure accurate portioning, weighing, labeling, and packaging of finished products.
• Maintain consistency in product quality, taste, freshness, appearance, and portion size.
• Follow established food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and temperature-control standards.
• Monitor ingredient freshness and properly store and handle raw and prepared ingredients to minimize waste.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area, equipment, and workstations.
• Support daily production requirements and ensure products are completed within deadlines.
• Check finished products to ensure they meet quality and presentation standards before display or distribution.
• Assist in developing or improving sandwich and salad recipes, product presentation, and production processes.
