Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food prep experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic salad preparation techniques.
• Understanding of proper food handling, sanitation and hygiene.
• Ability to follow recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards.
• Organized, hardworking and detail-oriented.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare salads, vegetables, fruits, dressings and other cold dishes per recipes and standards.
• Wash, cut, portion, and store ingredients properly.
• Maintain salad station cleanliness and organization.
• Ensure ingredients are fresh, labeled and stored properly.
• Follow food safety, sanitation and hygiene procedures.
• Check inventory and inform supervisor when supplies run low.
• Prepare orders accurately and ensure presentation.
• Maintain portion control to minimize food waste.
• Clean and sanitise equipment, utensils, surfaces.
• Assist other kitchen stations when needed.
