Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Business Analyst / BI Specialist to empower Sales, Commercial and Leadership with Salesforce reporting, dashboards, data analysis and performance diagnostics.

You will transform business data into actionable intelligence to enable data-driven decisions, plan strategically and optimize performance across functions. The role requires 2–5 years in analytics, strong Power BI/Tableau skills, and excellent communication to present insights.

Qualifications

About the role

The Business Analyst / Business Intelligence Specialist supports Sales, Commercial, and Business Leadership teams by providing actionable insights through Salesforce reporting, dashboard development, data analysis, and performance diagnostics. The role is responsible for transforming business data into meaningful intelligence that enables data-driven decision-making, performance optimization, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop, build, and continuously enhance Salesforce reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in Salesforce navigation, reporting architecture, and data structures.
• Analyze sales, pipeline, customer, and performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and business drivers.
• Perform diagnostic analysis to determine root causes of performance gaps, revenue leakage, process inefficiencies, and customer behavior patterns.
• Conduct prescriptive analysis and provide recommendations that support business growth, productivity improvement, and operational excellence.
• Design and maintain executive-level dashboards and KPI scorecards for leadership teams.
• Translate business requirements into scalable reporting, dashboard, and analytics solutions.
• Validate data quality, integrity, and consistency across Salesforce and connected data sources.
• Support forecasting, territory planning, pipeline management, and performance review processes through data-driven insights.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations teams to understand reporting needs and business challenges.
• Develop automated reporting and visualization solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual reporting efforts.
• Present analytical findings, recommendations, and business insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support implementation of best practices in reporting and analytics.
• Participate in projects involving CRM optimization, data governance, KPI harmonization, and business intelligence initiatives.
• Support compliance with company policies, data governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a role model in accordance with corporate values and leadership expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in business analytics, sales analytics, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role.
• Advanced experience in Salesforce reporting, dashboard development, and CRM analytics.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce objects, data models, relationships, and reporting capabilities.
• Experience analyzing sales performance metrics, pipeline data, forecasting, and customer data.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent BI platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Experience with SQL and data extraction/manipulation is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic and prescriptive analytics methodologies.
• Experience integrating and analyzing data from multiple business systems.
• Full proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
