Job summary

Aprio, a Top 20 CPA and advisory firm, invites you to join its Specialty Tax team as an Associate, Sales Tax Compliance in the Philippines. This role supports filing state and local sales tax returns and tax research while collaborating with a remote team.

You will work night shift from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM PHT at Clark or Makati sites, with a Bachelor's in Accountancy and 1–2 years of tax/accounting experience. A data-aware, proactive, and independent work style is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in tax or accounting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote team environment.
• Data-conscious, proficient with systems/software to verify data and identify anomalies.
• Proven ability to work independently with ownership while maintaining production.

Responsibilities

• Prepare workpapers and file state and local sales tax returns.
• Conduct research on indirect tax matters (nexus, state filing requirements).
• Respond to notices and participate in sales tax reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
