Job summary

Roadsky Manufacturer and Builder Corp. is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive sales of generator sets and related services to contractors, businesses, and government organizations in Northern Mindanao and nearby areas.

The role requires technical knowledge of GENSET products, the ability to present compelling proposals, conduct on-site product installations, and provide training and after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering in a related field.
• 2–3 years technical and/or engineering sales experience.
• Solid experience in GENSET selling and basic troubleshooting.
• Basic proficiency in Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
• Willing to travel domestically.

About the role

The Sales Engineer's main function is to sell the company's products such as GENERATOR and services to contractors, businesses, and government organizations. Sales generation within NORTHERN MINDANAO particularly; understand and has technical knowledge on the product and services offered by the group/department, understand how to communicate the content and purpose of the each quotation to the end user/client, understand the status and timing of each proposal if there is a potential to close a deal, as well as the reasons for not getting the transaction, monitor the status of awarded works with regular communication with the client and updates and produce and comply with regular reports needed by Management.

Key responsibilities

• Establish new accounts and handle existing accounts, if needed.
• Prepare and deliver powerful presentation of products to prospective customers.
• Make proposal, close deals and meet targeted sales objectives.
• Visit customer and promote company's products such as generator machines, tools and other products that may be assigned.
• Conduct technical discussions for generator machine tools and assess customer demands.
• Monitor delivery and installation at the customer's site.
• Install company products at customer sites, ensure that they are working effectively, and provide any necessary training and instruction to users.
• Carry out the on-site repair of company products and ensure that they are working effectively.
• Respond to technical enquiries from customers and ensure that any problems presented are resolved to their satisfaction.
• Undertake the testing of company products and equipment, as requested, to ensure that they are working effectively.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering Electrical/Electronic, Industrial, Mechanical, Civil, or related field.
• At least 2 to 3 years technical and/or engineering sales experience or equivalent.
• With solid experience in GENSET Selling and Basic Troubleshooting.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
• Willing to travel domestically.
