This role emphasizes understanding client vision, producing precise technical designs, and driving revenue by converting proposals into signed contracts. You will qualify leads, present design pitches, and tailor contracts to budgets while creating floor plans, 3D renderings, elevations, and material boards

Qualifications

• Undergraduate coursework or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related creative discipline; OR practical training/experience in construction design and drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray, or equivalent 2D/3D rendering software.
• Updated on and familiar with the latest developments, materials, and hardware in the modular cabinet design industry.

Responsibilities

• Qualify prospective leads, conduct initial discovery meetings, present design pitches, and negotiate contracts tailored to client needs and budgets.
• Create detailed floor plans, 3D renderings, elevations, and material boards using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or V-Ray.
• Develop customized interior layouts with a focus on modular cabinetry systems and draft accurate project estimates and material specifications.
• Conduct on-site inspections and measuring sessions as required by clients to verify dimensions and structural conditions prior to design finalization.
• Work alongside site engineers and project managers to ensure design specs accurately translate into real-world construction limits.
