The Sales Data Supervisor is responsible for overseeing sales data management, reporting, and analysis to support sales performance and decision-making. The role ensures the accuracy and timely delivery of sales reports, monitors key performance indicators, and provides insights to help drive sales growth. The position also supervises the Sales Data Specialist and works closely with the Sales team and other departments to support planning, forecasting, and operational efficiency.
Supervise and guide the Sales Data Specialist in data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of sales data from systems such as SAP, POS, and internal sales reports.
Review and analyze sales performance reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to the Sales team.
Monitor sales KPIs (e.g., volume, revenue, growth, coverage) and highlight gaps or opportunities.
Support the Sales team in forecasting, sales planning, and target setting.
Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to align data, reports, and business requirements.
Develop and improve reporting tools, templates, and dashboards to enhance visibility and decision-making.
Ensure standardization and proper documentation of sales data processes and reporting practices.
Identify and resolve data discrepancies and ensure data integrity across systems.
Provide regular updates and reports to Sales leadership on performance and key insights. Support sales initiatives, programs, and projects through data analysis and reporting.
Perform other duties as may be assigned in support of sales operations and business objectives.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Statistics, or any related field.
At least 3-5 years of experience in sales operations, sales analytics, or data analysis.
With experience handling or guiding team members is an advantage
Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, formulas, data analysis)
Familiarity with SAP, POS systems, or similar sales data platforms
Strong understanding of sales metrics and performance tracking
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Ability to manage multiple reports and deadlines and technical compliance requirements.
