Job summary

Crimson Resort & Spa, Mactan is seeking a Room Sales Coordinator to support the Sales Executive/Manager in planning, execution and delivery of all room inquiries. You will coordinate requirements for confirmed events and maximize room revenue while maintaining excellent guest relations.

The ideal candidate has a college degree and at least 1 year of OJT in banquet, events, or sales, with strong interpersonal skills and computer proficiency.

• Amenable to work onsite at Mactan, Cebu.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales Executive/Manager in planning and delivering room inquiries.

• Maintain relationships with travel agents and clients to maximize room revenue.
• Prepare proposals and contracts for confirmed events.
• Participate in briefings and assist in reports and team tasks.

Room Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting and assisting the role of the Sales Executive/Manager in the planning, execution and delivery of all room inquiries in the Hotel. He/She is responsible in coordinating, liaising and organizing requirements for each and every confirmed event in order to maximize room revenue, maintains business relationships and ensures excellent customer service is rendered to all current and potential guests at all times.

• Actively and aggressively solicits business and generates revenue from all types of market segments through upselling.
  
• Maintains positive relationships with travel agents, coordinators, suppliers and other sources of business for the Hotel.
• Responsible for the dissemination of groups related information to other departments e.g. issues Guest Information Sheet (GIS), Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and the like.
• Maintains close coordination with respective departments on organizers requirements and last minute event requirements.
• Reports to the Sales Executive any complaints, comments or suggestions received from guests or the general public that may improve the services and products of the HoteL
• Participates in daily and weekly briefings and meetings.
• Ensures complete and timely submissions of weekly/ monthly required reports.
• Responsible for assisting the sales team in preparing proposals/ contracts.
• Performs all duties, responsibilities and assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established Hotel policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
