Job summary

Mediacast Digital Group Inc. is hiring a on-site Merchandiser in Quezon City. You will drive in-store display, maintain product availability, and meet monthly sales targets by applying persuasive selling techniques.

You will organize wall displays, ensure attractive product presentation, conduct monthly inventory, and submit reports on time. Ideal candidates have high school education and proven sales/retail experience, plus strong communication.

Qualifications

• At least high school graduate (training or background in sales/ marketing is an advantage).
• Proven experience in sales or retail (with a record of meeting targets is an advantage).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly quota by applying aggressive and persuasive selling techniques.
• Organize and maintain prominent and attractive mass display or wall display of assigned products in the assigned store in accordance with agreed merchandising guidelines.
• Ensure the maximum number of products are available and creatively displayed in order to increase basket size of the customer at all times.
• Maintain product cleanliness of all assigned products in the display area at all times to ensure that products are presentable and attractive to customers.
• Conduct regular counts of monthly inventory in the warehouse and in the selling area, and submit the merchandiser’s monthly inventory and off-take reports and other required reports on time.
• Avoid stockouts by regularly informing the sales coordinator about the critical stocks needed to replenish products.
• Take responsibility for loss of items; ensure that items are paid for.
• Ensure product security, secure the cabinets and modules are properly locked to provide precise and accurate inventory of products.
