Job summary

Mediacast Digital Group Inc. is seeking a full-time Merchandiser to join our Insurance Health & Wellness team in Quezon City. You will implement displays, manage stock, and work to hit monthly sales quotas through persuasive selling.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and proven experience in sales or retail, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• At least high school graduate (training or background in sales/ marketing is an advantage).
• Proven experience in sales or retail (with a record of meeting targets is an advantage).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly quota by applying aggressive and persuasive selling techniques
• Organize and maintain prominent displays of products in stores according to merchandising guidelines
• Ensure products are available and attractively displayed to increase basket size
• Maintain product cleanliness and presentability in display areas
• Conduct monthly inventory in warehouse and selling area and submit reports on time
• Inform sales coordinator about critical stock to replenish products
• Take responsibility for loss of items and ensure payment
• Ensure product security and locked cabinets/modules for precise inventory

• Achieve monthly quota by applying aggressive and consistent and persuasive selling techniques
• Organize and maintain prominent and attractive mass display or wall display of assigned products in the assigned store in accordance with agreed merchandising guidelines
• Ensure the maximum number of products are available and creatively displayed in order to increase basket size of the customer at all times
• Maintain product cleanliness of all assigned products in the display are at all time to ensure that product are presentable and attractive to customer
• Conduct regular count of monthly inventory in the warehouse and in the selling area, and submit the merchandiser’s monthly inventory and off-take reports and other required reports on time
• Avoid out of stocks, by regular informing sales coordinator about the critical stocks needed to regularly replenish products needed
• He or she takes responsibility for loss of items, they need to ensure that the items are paid
• Ensure product security, secure the cabinets and modules are properly locked to provide precise and accurate inventory of product
