Job summary

Development Strategists International Consulting Inc. is seeking a frontline retail associate in Iloilo City to warmly assist customers, recommend products, and demonstrate features.

You will drive sales through upselling and promotions while maintaining an attractive store layout and accurate pricing. You will handle POS transactions, returns, refunds, and ensure excellent customer experiences, staying informed on products and store policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some roles may prefer an Associate degree.
• Exceptional verbal and interpersonal skills to build rapport with buyers.
• Basic arithmetic to handle cash, make change, and process transactions.
• Ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs during stocking and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, identify their needs, and provide expert product recommendations and demonstrations.
• Meet or exceed sales targets by upselling, cross-selling, and informing customers about promotions or loyalty programs.
• Maintain the visual appeal of the sales floor, restock shelves, set up displays, and ensure accurate pricing tags.
• Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems to process cash and card payments, handle returns, and issue refunds.
• Listen to customer complaints and resolve them with empathy and professionalism.
• Stay updated on product features, specifications, and store policies to answer customer queries.
