Job summary

8Sources is seeking a proactive Customer Service Associate to serve as the primary contact for customers by handling telephone and email inquiries, including quotations, purchase orders, order modifications, adjustments and cancellations with accuracy and professionalism.

You will build strong customer relationships, coordinate with logistics for delivery updates, support the sales team with documentation, verify credit status for rush orders, and help prepare reports and data to aid management

• Serves as the primary point of contact for customers by handling telephone and email inquiries, including price quotations, purchase orders, order modifications, adjustments, and cancellations with accuracy and professionalism.
• Builds and maintains strong customer relationships by delivering exceptional service, promptly addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Prepares and provides timely and accurate quotations for products across Food, Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical, and Veterinary product lines.
• Coordinates with the Logistics and Warehouse teams to monitor order status and proactively provide customers with delivery schedules and shipment updates.
• Supports the Sales team by responding to customer requests, preparing sales documentation, coordinating order requirements, and ensuring seamless communication between internal departments and clients.
• Collaborates with the Credit and Collection Team to verify customer credit status for rush orders and ensure compliance with company credit policies.
• Maintains accurate records of customer orders, including scheduling changes, partial shipments, backorders, credit adjustments, and order completion.
• Coordinates with internal departments to ensure timely order processing, inventory availability, and on-time delivery.
• Assists in the preparation of sales reports, customer databases, forecasts, and performance tracking to support management decision-making.
• Supports marketing initiatives by coordinating promotional campaigns, product launches, trade shows, customer events, and marketing materials.
• Maintains and updates customer information, pricing records, and sales documentation to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Identifies opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, streamline sales processes, and enhance overall sales and marketing operations.
