DMCI Homes is seeking a Certified Safety Officer with training background to lead MESH programs for new hires and site personnel. The role requires COSH and TOT credentials, 3+ years of safety experience, and strong facilitation skills across multiple sites in Metro Manila.
You will develop training materials, deliver courses, assess effectiveness, and mentor project teams on regulatory compliance and safe work practices.
Graduate of any four (4) year course
CertifiedSafety Officer 3 (SO3) in accordance with applicable DOLE requirements
With a validConstruction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH)certificate
With a validTraining of Trainers (TOT)certificate
With a minimum ofthree (3) years of relevant experiencein Occupational Safety and Health, with substantial experience in conducting and facilitating EHS training programs
With experience in deliveringDOLE Mandatory Eight-Hour Safety and Health (MESH)training and other regulatory safety courses
With experience in developing lesson plans, training modules, presentations, assessments, and competency evaluations
Knowledgeable in DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Standards, Department Orders, and applicable construction safety regulations
Proficient in preparing Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control (HIRAC), safety inspection reports, incident investigation reports, and DOLE compliance reports
With strong communication, presentation, facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for training documentation and reporting.
Willing to be assigned to any project site within Metro Manila.
Serves as the lead facilitator forDOLE Mandatory Eight-Hour Safety and Health (MESH)training for newly hired employees and other required personnel
Conducts Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) orientations, New Employee Safety Orientations, toolbox meetings, refresher courses, and specialized EHS training programs
Develops, updates, and improves training materials, lesson plans, presentations, examinations, and practical exercises aligned with DOLE requirements and company standards
Evaluates training effectiveness through written assessments, practical demonstrations, and post-training evaluations
Mentors supervisors and project personnel on regulatory compliance and safe work practices
Conducts workplace safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health standards and company policies
Reviews and recommends approval of work permits, safety plans, and risk control measures before commencement of high-risk activities
Identifies workplace hazards, assesses risks, and implements preventive and corrective actions
Leads the implementation and continuous improvement of project safety programs
Conducts investigations of accidents, incidents, and near misses, and facilitates lessons learned sessions
Promotes a proactive safety culture through regular safety campaigns, coaching, and awareness activities
Plans, facilitates, and evaluates emergency preparedness activities, including drills and simulations
Coordinates with DOLE representatives during inspections, audits, and compliance activities, and prepares required documentation
Prepares accurate training records, competency matrices, attendance reports, and regulatory compliance reports.
Performs other Occupational Safety and Health duties that may be assigned by management.
