Job summary

DMCI Project Developers is seeking a Safety Officer for an on-site assignment in Benguet. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of safety experience, a four-year degree is not required, and COSH certification is a plus. You will oversee safety practices, conduct inspections, and ensure DOLE compliance at the Moncello Crest, Sitio Bato, via Bontiway, Brgy.

Poblacion, Tuba, Benguet site. Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, hazard analyses, toolbox meetings, and reviewing

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year course.
• At least 1 year work experience in safety management is an advantage.
• COSH Training certificate is preferred.
• Proficient in preparing safety reports and compliance documents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct workplace safety inspections to prevent accidents.
• Perform hazard analysis for work instructions and procedures.
• Lead toolbox meetings to reinforce safety practices.
• Review and approve all work permits and safety plans.
• Assess risks and enforce preventive and corrective actions.
• Lead the implementation of safety program.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses.
• Promote safety guidelines at the job site.
• Coordinate with DOLE inspectors when required.

Qualifications

Proficient on preparing job hazard analysis, inspection/safety, and DOLE compliance reports

Knowledgeable on occupational safety and health standards

Adept on assessment, inspection, and analysis of workplace hazard and risks

Skilled in preparing safety or accident report

Willing to be assigned to our project site in Moncello Crest, Sitio Bato, via Bontiway, Brgy. Poblacion, Tuba, Benguet.

Duties and Responsibilities

Conducts workplace safety inspection to ensure zero lost-time accidents

Conducts hazard analysis of work instruction methods and procedures

Conducts toolbox meetings to remind workers and employees on ensuring tools, equipment and work stations are safe to avoid any form of accident.

Reviews and approves all work permits and safety plans

Evaluates risks and hazards to determine and immediately enforce preventive and corrective actions

Leads the implementation of safety program

Conducts investigations of all accidents and near-misses

Promotes safety practices and enforces safety guidelines at the job site

Receives reports from and responds to orders issued by Department of Labor inspectors
