Key Responsibilities

Safety Compliance & Monitoring

• Ensure compliance with DOLE Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and company safety policies
• Conduct regular site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits
• Monitor daily operations to ensure proper implementation of safety procedures
• Identify unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions immediately

Safety Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain safety reports, incident reports, and inspection records
• Monitor permits, certifications, and safety compliance documentation
• Conduct accident and incident investigations and submit findings with recommendations
• Ensure all required safety records are updated and properly filed

Safety Training & Awareness

• Conduct safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and safety briefings
• Promote safety awareness and proper work practices among employees
• Assist in organizing emergency response drills and safety programs
• Reinforce proper use of PPE and safety equipment on-site

Site & Operational Support

• Coordinate closely with Operations, Supervisors, and Project Teams regarding safety requirements
• Ensure all workers, visitors, and subcontractors comply with safety regulations
• Monitor lifting, rigging, transfer, relocation, and warehouse activities for safety compliance

Emergency Preparedness

• Assist in developing and implementing emergency response procedures
• Ensure first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and emergency equipment are available and operational
• Coordinate with project teams during emergencies and incident response situations

Qualifications

• Certified Safety Officer 3 (SO3) accredited by DOLE/BWC
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field is an advantage
• Experience in construction, industrial services, logistics, rigging, or related industries is preferred
• Strong knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Willing to conduct field and site work
