Job summary

EC Structural Composites, Inc. is seeking a Safety Officer to support our OHS program in the Philippines.

The role focuses on advising on safety topics, conducting risk assessments, updating policies, organizing training, inspecting premises, and reporting incidents. This position requires an SO2 category, COSH/LCM/HIRAC training, knowledge of OSH standards, and willingness to work Monday through Saturday and across different sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field is an advantage.
• SO2 category (Safety Officer 2).
• At least one year of relevant work experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• With COSH Training
• With LCM Training
• With HIRAC training
• Knowledgeable in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards.
• Willing to work Monday to Saturday.
• Willing to accept project-based assignments in different locations throughout the Philippines. (Staff house provided upon deployment).
• Can start immediately.

Job description

A Safety Officer's primarily duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to, supporting OHS policies, advising on safety topics, conducting risk assessments, updating policies, organizing training, inspecting premises, investigating incidents, and reporting occurrences. Implement and maintain health and safety standards. Establish a cordial and professional relationship with employees.
