CHINA CONSTRUCTION FRONT GEN. DEVT. CORP.

is seeking a Safety Officer to oversee site safety, conduct inspections, and enforce safety policies on construction projects in Morong, Rizal. You will lead risk assessments, training, and incident investigations to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of construction safety experience, with strong communication skills and knowledge of safety management systems.

Formación

• Graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree.
• HSE qualifications such as IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments, hazard identification and safety audits.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in incident investigation and reporting procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with safety management systems is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and non-compliance.
• Develop, implement and maintain safety policies and protocols for project requirements.
• Provide safety training and induction to workers, contractors and site personnel.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses; document findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with PPE requirements and safety protocols across all areas.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients and external safety bodies to maintain certifications.
• Maintain detailed safety records and documentation per legal requirements.
• Attend and conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks and risk assessment reviews with site teams.
• Identify training needs and coordinate safety awareness programmes for all site personnel.
• Report safety performance metrics and recommendations to senior management.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting regular site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and areas of non-compliance

• Developing, implementing and maintaining safety policies, procedures and protocols tailored to project-specific requirements

• Providing safety training and induction to workers, contractors and site personnel to ensure understanding of safety requirements

• Investigating accidents, incidents and near misses, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions

• Monitoring compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and safety protocols across all work areas

• Liaising with regulatory authorities, clients and external safety bodies to maintain certification and regulatory compliance

• Maintaining detailed safety records, statistics and documentation in accordance with legal requirements

• Attending and conducting safety meetings, toolbox talks and risk assessment reviews with site teams

• Identifying training needs and coordinating safety awareness programmes for all site personnel

• Reporting safety performance metrics and recommendations to senior management

What we're looking for

• Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree

• Relevant qualification in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) or Construction Safety, such as IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Safety Officer or similar safety role within the construction industry

• Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations, standards and best practices

• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, hazard identification and safety audits

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage workers at all levels

• Proficiency in incident investigation and reporting procedures

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment

• Computer literacy and familiarity with safety management systems is advantageous
