Key Responsibilities:
A. Safety Officer Duties:
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and hazard assessments.
- Implement and monitor safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety orientations.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and prepare reports.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
- Coordinate emergency response procedures.
- Maintain safety records and documentation.
B. Project In-Charge Duties:
- Supervise daily site operations and manpower.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
- Prepare work schedules and assign tasks.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
- Monitor materials usage and request procurement when needed.
- Submit daily, weekly, or monthly progress reports.
- Address on-site issues and implement corrective actions.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Certified Safety Officer 2 (e.g., COSH/BOSH accredited).
- At least 2 years experience in construction/project supervision in high rise projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and construction standards.
