FCC (Philippines) Corp. in Laguna seeks an Occupational Health and Safety Officer to help protect learners, staff and visitors by ensuring compliance with safety laws and implementing robust safety practices.
You will lead health and safety programs, conduct training (first aid, CPR), perform risk assessments, inspect facilities and report incidents, while promoting a culture of safety across the organization.
Assist in complying with current health and safety legislation and/or regulations with the objective of ensuring that all reasonable and proper measures are taken to protect the safety and health of learners, staff and visitors.
Establish proposals for the operation of the Occupational Health and Safety office and specific training programs.
Increase health and safety awareness at all levels within the organization.
Investigate and report on all accidents/incidents occurring to associates, staff and/or visitors to the management.
Assess and report on complaints of hazardous working conditions to the immediate superiors and management with statistical information.
Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using PPE).
Stop any unsafe acts or process that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
Coordinate the training of personnel in areas of safety, including first aid, CPR, accident prevention and investigation, work place inspections and other matters related to implementing safety procedures in Company facilities Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventive measures.
Monitors progress of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual health, safety, environment and security activity plan.
Support the development of OHS policies and programs.
Act as Secretariat of Occupational Health and Safety Committee.
Can perform other task that may be assigned.
