Job summary

Link Energie in Metro Manila is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee QEHS compliance across projects and ensure the company meets ISO standards.

You will lead policy development, risk assessments, and incident investigations while mentoring site teams and coordinating with the Head Office QEHS Committee.

Required: a Bachelor's in Engineering with 5+ years in safety management, plus strong communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional license is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in safety management, preferably in water infrastructure or high-rise construction.
• Adept in formulating QEHS policies and procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office and QEHS documentation.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Strong risk assessment and incident investigation skills.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the documentation and compliance of the Company in all ISO matters.
• Implement the company's QEHS policies and procedures.
• Ensure QEHS inspections on equipment, workplaces and hazardous materials are performed periodically.
• Identify and analyze risk levels at project sites.
• Develop policies to prevent and correct identified hazards.
• Provide analysis on accidents and submit to QEHS Committee.
• Prepare root cause analyses for incidents to include in reports.
• Ensure regulatory compliance.
• Preside the site's QEHS Committee with the Project Manager.
• Perform other related functions as assigned.

The Safety Managerwill represent the Company in all matters concerning its ISO Certifications. They are responsible for ensuringall policies, procedures, measures, and regulatory requirements pertaining to quality, environment, health, and safety are implemented and complied with within the company especially on project sites.

Job Description

• Overseethe documentation and compliance of the Company in all ISO matters.
• Implementthe company's Quality, Environment, Health and Safety (QEHS) policies and procedures.
• Ensurethat QEHS inspection on equipment, work places and hazardous materials are being done on a periodic basis.
• Identifyand analyze thedegree of risk level at project sites.
• Implement policies on how to prevent and correct measures on identified aspects and hazards.
• Provide an analysis on accidents, investigation reports and submits it to the site and Head Office QEHS Committee.
• Prepare root cause analysis on incidents/accidents, to be included inthe accident investigation reports.
• Ensurecompliance to regulatory requirements.
• Presidethe site's QEHS Committee in coordination with the respective Project Manager.
• Performother related functions that may be assigned within their capability.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the field of Engineering or other related discipline
• Having a professional license is an advantage.
• Must have at least 5 years of progressive experience in the same capacity, but experience as Safety Manager in Water Infrastructure or Vertical High-Rise Construction is an advantage.
• Adept in formulating policies, developing and implementing new strategies and procedures about Health and Safety.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Well-versedin Resources Management, Risk Management and People Management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Strong interpersonal and team leadership abilities.
• Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Adept in offering mentorship and guidance to subordinates.
