Job summary

Palmer-Asia Inc. in the Philippines seeks an experienced Occupational Health and Safety professional to lead development and implementation of OSH policies and programs across the company.

You will monitor compliance with Philippine OSH laws, oversee hazard identification and risk assessment, conduct inspections and incident investigations, and coordinate safety training, drills, and health initiatives to strengthen a proactive safety culture and ensure regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Philippine OSH laws and regulations
• Experience in manufacturing/construction/industrial settings
• DOLE-recognized safety training and certification preferred or required

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSH laws and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures.
• Monitor workplace conditions; conduct inspections and audits; correct unsafe acts/conditions.
• Lead investigations of accidents, near misses, and incidents; identify root causes and actions.
• Develop and oversee safety training, orientations, drills, and awareness programs.
• Ensure emergency preparedness with plans, equipment, and drills.
• Coordinate health initiatives including health monitoring and sanitation.
• Prepare and maintain safety records, reports, and training logs.
• Promote a strong safety culture with management and staff to improve safety performance.
