Job description

As Safety and Security Associate for Wright Park Hotel, you are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and employees. This include:

Security Patrols & Monitoring:

• Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises, both interior and exterior, to identify and deter potential security threats.
• Actively monitor the hotel's CCTV system, identifying and reporting suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, including disturbances, safety hazards, theft, and unauthorized access.
• Maintain detailed logs of security observations, incidents, and actions taken.
• Enforce hotel security policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other emergency services as needed.
• Report equipment malfunctions or system issues to management.
• Maintain confidentiality of security footage and information.
• Assist with lost and found items.

Incident Response:

• Assess security situations, determine appropriate actions, and take necessary steps to mitigate risks.
• Provide assistance to guests and employees in emergency situations.
• Secure crime scenes and preserve evidence.
• Prepare incident reports and other documentation.

Access Control:

• Monitor access points to the hotel, verifying identification and ensuring authorized access only.
• Control and manage keys and access cards.

Other Responsibilities:

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security best practices and relevant regulations.
• Assist the APD Manager in the conduct of security training for hotel staff as needed.
• And other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the management to achieve efficiency and effectiveness, thereby ensuring customer delight at all times.
