Job summary

ConnectOS in the Metro Manila area is seeking an experienced Product Owner/Business Analyst to translate business needs into epics and user stories, maintain the backlog, and guide the delivery team toward high-value outcomes. You will collaborate with customers and stakeholders, gather requirements, and ensure quality through clear acceptance criteria.

A CS/IT degree or equivalent, 2+ years in product-focused roles, and proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or Aha!

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in a product-focused role such as Product Owner or Business Analyst.
• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline, and/or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Collaborative team player with commitment to shared objectives and outcomes.
• Passion for continuous improvement and process optimisation.
• Adaptable to dynamic, fast-changing environments.
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality.
• Proficient with Jira, Confluence, Aha! or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers, end users, and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into product value.
• Define, refine, and manage epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Own and maintain the product backlog and prioritise by business value and customer impact.
• Partner with the delivery team during sprint planning to align priorities and clarify requirements.
• Identify and monitor cross-functional dependencies to support delivery.
• Ensure backlog items meet the Definition of Ready and Done.
• Review and validate completed work against requirements and quality standards.
• Participate in sprint reviews, demonstrations, and retrospectives to drive improvement.
• Work with Product Managers, Development Managers, and stakeholders to manage risks and dependencies.
