Job summary

Vestas Services Philippines Inc. seeks a General Ledger & Cash Accounting professional within Global Finance SSC to lead Month End, Quarter End, and Year End closings, plus cash flow reporting and fixed assets accounting.

You will coordinate with regional finance, payroll, treasury, and SSC teams to ensure accurate, timely financial records. Qualifications include BS Accountancy and 2–5 years in General Ledger/Reporting, ideally with an SSC/BPO background; ERP proficiency and professional

• BS Accountancy degree.
• Solid background in General Ledger, Reporting or Controlling.
• 2–5 years of experience in the same field.
• BPO/SSC experience preferred.
• Certifications such as CPA, CMA, CIA are a plus.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger is responsible for Month End/Quarter End/Year End closing of the company's financial records.
• Execute finance processing of General Ledger per Vestas SOPs.
• Collaborate with AP/AR/TE, Controlling and Reporting, and with regional finance, payroll and treasury.
• Perform analytical reviews to ensure KPIs and PPIs are met.
• Assist in developing training plans and knowledge sharing within the team.

Job description

The team is under Global Finance of Vestas Shared Services Centre. General Ledger is mainly responsible for month end/quarter end/year end closing of the company's financial records. The department is also responsible for the cash flow reporting, fixed assets accounting, cash management, intercompany accounting & some statutory reporting. The group is expected to have close collaboration with regional finance, payroll & treasury department as well as with the other functions in SSC such as AP/AR/TE & Controlling and Reporting.

Group Finance>Finance SSC>Record to Report - General Ledger & Cash Accounting

Responsibilities:

• General Ledger is mainly responsible for Month End/Quarter End/Year End closing of the company's financial records
• Execute the relevant finance processing of General Ledger fully in accordance with the defined and agreed Vestas Standard Operating Procedures
• Closely engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues (i.e., AP/ AR/TE, Controlling and Reporting) and business stakeholders (i.e., Regional Finance, Payroll & Treasury), in order to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality
• Performed analytical review to ensure KPIs and PPIs were met for the specific function assigned
• Assist in developing training plans and knowledge sharing within the team

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Accountancy
• With a solid background in General Ledger functions, Reporting or Controlling
• With at least 2-5 years of working experience in the same field
• with BPO or SSC experience
• Knowledge in process improvement methodologies
• With certifications (i.e. CPA, CMA, CIA etc.)

Competencies:

• With good communication skills both oral and written.
• Problem solving-oriented
• Flexible and willing to work on holidays as needed and on any shift as maybe assigned.
• With professional conduct and attitude. Can blend well to different kind of personalities.
• With knowledge in using ERP systems
