Job summary

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) in Manila seeks an RPA Automation Development Officer to design, build, and operate automation solutions across business processes. You will translate approved specs into secure automations and collaborate with business stakeholders to plan releases and ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities include designing automation, converting specs to designs, publishing processes through orchestrators, and supporting UAT with strong documentation and governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Mathematics or related fields.
• 2 years proven automation development, testing, implementation and hypercare experience.
• Experience with RPA and automation governance is preferred.
• Knowledge of SQL/data validation and non-functional requirements.
• Ability to translate functional specs into robust automations.

Responsibilities

• Design and build automation using UiPath, Power Automate, Power Apps, Kissflow and VBA/.NET.
• Translate functional specs into technical designs and reusable components.
• Create and maintain design documents detailing architecture and security considerations.
• Package, publish, and monitor processes through orchestrators; manage credentials per policy.
• Execute controlled promotions and prepare release notes; participate in change reviews.
• Explain alternative development approaches and recommend solutions.
• Develop prototypes or PoCs to demonstrate feasibility and impact.
• Support SIT/UAT with business users and remediate defects until criteria are met.
• Maintain solution documentation and audit-ready runbooks.
