Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking an entry-level ROW GIS Specialist in Makati to provide geospatial analysis, data management, and mapping support for SRRLC and PD teams across project phases. You will process, visualize, and curate spatial data to aid routes, sites, and permitting decisions, contributing to sustainable energy projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Geodetic Engineering/Geography/Geomatics or related field.
• At least 2 years of GIS-focused experience in infrastructure, energy, or environmental projects.
• Proficient in ArcGIS and QGIS; familiarity with AutoCAD, GPS tools, and remote sensing.

Responsibilities

• Generate spatial data and maps to guide feasible routes for transmission lines and access roads.
• Analyze terrain, slope, land cover, land use, and proximity to infrastructure and protected areas.
• Provide GIS support for route alignment and site selection.
• Develop and maintain GIS databases including cadastral boundaries, zoning, and land tenure.
• Ensure accuracy and version control of spatial datasets.
• Integrate field-verified GPS coordinates into mapping outputs.
