Job summary

CEBU GENERAL SERVICES INC. is looking for a diligent Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team in the Philippines.

You will clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas, change linens, and ensure guest comfort according to established standards. You should be a high school graduate with strong attention to detail, able to work independently or as part of a team, and willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Room Attendant, Housekeeper, Cleaner, or similar position is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Customer-service oriented and able to communicate courteously with guests.
• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Reliable, hardworking, and responsible.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and assigned areas.
• Change bed linens, pillowcases, towels, and other room amenities as required.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize floors and surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, toilets, sinks, mirrors, showers, and other fixtures.
• Replenish toiletries, drinking water, towels, and other guest supplies.
• Check guest rooms for cleanliness, damages, missing items, and maintenance concerns.
• Report lost and found items according to company procedures.
• Report damaged equipment, defective fixtures, and maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure guest rooms are properly arranged and meet the required housekeeping standards.
• Handle cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies safely and properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas.
• Respect guest privacy and follow hotel policies regarding guest rooms and personal belongings.
• Respond politely to reasonable guest requests and coordinate concerns with the appropriate department.
• Assist with deep cleaning, special cleaning projects, and other housekeeping tasks as assigned.
• Follow health, safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.

Working Conditions
