Job summary

Solviva, a fast-growing solar startup backed by AboitizPower, seeks a Junior Design Engineer (Structural) in the Philippines. You will own the project pipeline, ensuring speed, precision, and engineering compliance across rooftop solar installations.

You will work within Solviva’s Design & Engineering department, collaborating with Site Assessors, Drafters, Electrical Engineers, PMs, and Sales/Aftersales teams to deliver robust structural solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering is required.
• 1–3 years of structural engineering design experience; rooftop solar/residential structural assessment is a plus.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Pipeline management: manage, process, and execute designated projects.
• Advanced framing & modeling: conduct computational framing modeling for complex roof structures.
• Structural assessment & analysis: perform verification and submit findings to the Engineer of Record (EoR).
• Retrofit design: create retrofitting designs for buildings requiring reinforcement.
• Compliance & deliverables: compile and track engineering deliverables for EoR submission.
• Interdepartmental collaboration: provide technical support to Site Assessors, Drafters, Electrical Engineers, PMs/Engineers, and Sales/Aftersales teams.
