Job summary

Shopee Philippines Inc. in Meycauayan, Bulacan is seeking an Automation Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of warehouse automation and material handling systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot PLCs and robotics, and support daily operations in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering or Mechatronics or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with 2–4 years’ automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering or Mechatronics or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Preferably with PRC license or National Certificate II/III/IV in Electrical or Mechatronics.
• Working-at-height certification.
• 2–4 years of experience in automation engineering projects, equipment maintenance, conveyors, and material handling equipment.
• Experience with industrial automation is preferred.
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMI, VFDs, robotics, and motor control.
• Familiarity with conveyors, sortation systems, AS/RS and robotic.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Skilled in troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, preventive maintenance, and asset management.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Mobile and able to support multiple warehouse sites or locations in Meycauayan.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on robots and automation equipment (e.g. conveyors, packing machines, automated storage and retrieval system and robotic system).
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on robots and automation equipment to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, printers, scanners, and control panels.
• Conduct regular audit inventory of spare parts to ensure availability.
• Ensure compliance of all automation systems with the safety standards.
• Provide technical support to warehouse operations during daily activities.
• Oversee materials handling equipment such as Reach trucks, Counterbalance, and Powered pallet truck.
• Document maintenance activities.
