Job summary
Shopee Philippines seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design and installation for automated warehousing. You will oversee ASM control systems, distribution, and protections while coordinating tendering and project teams.
Responsibilities include detailed drawings, QA, installation methods, and establishing preventive maintenance programs for technicians to ensure safety and reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Must be licensed Electrical Engineer
- Preferred 5–10 years of experience in automated warehouse or manufacturing facility, or at least electrical engineering experience.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical parts of the project (ASM control system, electrical distribution, protection, cabling, lighting, grounding).
- Support tendering: estimate budget, evaluate vendor quotations and specifications.
- Support PM team in ASM installation and commissioning; challenge proposed solutions.
- Prepare detailed drawings, QA, calculation, and installation methods for the ASM system.
- Review electrical documents like load lists, cable lists, single-line diagrams, MCC-IO-room setup, networks.
- Learn field control logic and electrical distribution systems from vendors.
- Establish preventive maintenance programs and training; manage schedules and parts inventory.
- Oversee maintenance procedures, schedules, and procurement; improve efficiency, safety, and reliability.
