• Previous risk management experience in finance, banking, or related fields; inclusive finance is a plus.

Role Description

The Risk Manager is responsible for overseeing and strengthening the organization’s risk management framework to support safe and sustainable growth. This full-time, on-site role is based in Quezon City and involves identifying, assessing, and monitoring credit, operational, and market risks across products, branches, and channels. The Risk Manager will develop and implement risk policies, limits, and controls, conduct regular risk assessments and portfolio analyses, and recommend mitigation strategies to management. The role includes preparing risk reports and dashboards, coordinating with business units and compliance teams, supporting internal and external audits, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal standards. The Risk Manager will also help train staff on risk-related processes and contribute to continuous improvement of tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Strong risk management capabilities, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.
• Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and use of spreadsheets or risk reporting tools.
• Knowledge of credit and lending practices, particularly in retail or microfinance, and familiarity with Philippine financial regulations.
• Skills in policy development, process improvement, and implementation of internal controls.
• Effective communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant experience in risk management, finance, banking, or related fields; experience in inclusive or developmental finance is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline; professional certifications in risk or compliance are a plus.
• Ability to work on-site in Quezon City, exercise sound judgment, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
