Country Funders Finance Corporation is seeking a Risk Manager to oversee and strengthen the organization’s risk framework for safe, sustainable growth. The role is full-time and on-site in Quezon City, requiring oversight of credit, operational, and market risks across products and channels.

You will develop policies, conduct risk assessments, and prepare reports while collaborating with business units and compliance teams.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring capabilities.
• Proficient in data analysis, financial modeling, and risk reporting tools.
• Knowledge of credit and lending practices, especially in retail or microfinance, and Philippine regulations.
• Experience developing policies, improving processes, and implementing internal controls.
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Previous risk management experience in finance, banking, or related fields; inclusive finance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and strengthen the risk management framework for safe, sustainable growth.
• Identify, assess, and monitor credit, operational, and market risks across products, branches, and channels.
• Develop risk policies, limits, and controls; conduct regular risk assessments and portfolio analyses.
• Prepare risk reports and dashboards; coordinate with business units and compliance teams.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
• Train staff on risk processes and contribute to tool/methodology improvements.
