Job summary

Aboitiz Power is looking for a Risk Finance Supervisor to oversee execution of risk finance activities at our Makati office. This role involves working closely with the Risk Management Team to ensure compliance and timely deliverables, ensuring organizational excellence and community impact.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering and at least 3-5 years of experience in the risk management field, along with strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years equivalent experience in risk management, power industry or related fields.
• Knowledge of insurance industry and markets is required.
• Certifications in Risk Management or Insurance are needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely compliance with Risk Finance deliverables.
• Assist during the renewal of insurance programs and manage claims documentation.
• Analyze insurance and risk engineering reports.
• Prepare management reports.

As Risk Finance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the execution of the Risk Finance activities and program providing overall risk-related support for all AP and BU sites and functions and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with Risk Management Team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Ensuring that Risk Finance deliverables are complied with accurately and on-time, which includes providing assistance/coordination during the renewal of insurance programs and sending out reminders for timely submission of renewal information, claims documentation, and premium payments
• Review and reconciliation of insurance policy terms and invoices at binding to protect from errors that could cause gaps in coverage or incorrect premium costs
• Analysis of insurance and risk engineering reports
• Preparation of management reports

What You Will Need:

• Certifications: Relevant Risk Management, Insurance or Business Continuity Management certification/trainings required
